Talented MAy-D has been sacked from Square records,but what is not known to many is that May-D was never informed of the sack, he reportedly got wind of this via blogs and social media sites.
According to his associates,
“We believe that the contract between them was not consummated on the internet, how come a disclaimer was issued to bloggers and
journalists without properly serving notice to the person involved?”
The sack notice was released by Jude “Engees” Okoye the CEO of Square Records
“To Whom It May Concern
I, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited
hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences.
We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life.
