JUMIA FEED 1500 DESTITUTE AND LESS-PRIVELEGED

Nigeria’s foremost online store with a about 500 volunteers including; Gbemi(Beat FM), Dami(Beat FM), Djinee, Weird MC, Shawlz (Classic FM), Lilian Unachukwu, Jeffery Daniel, Tosin Bucknor, Phyno, Ice Prince, Dammy Krane, Eminic, Joseph Benjamin, Toke Makinwa, Tillaman, Godwin& Sabina(Naija FM), Ill Bliss, Koch, Shadow d Don and many more celebrities on the 10th of march gathered at Ebute Metta for ‘Jumia feeds Lagos’, this purpose of the event was to show support and concern for the destitute and less privileged in the society.
With lots of fun,music,games and interaction with the volunteers and the less-privileged in order to give them ‘HOPE’ for tomorrow. As part of the joys of the day, Jumia also presented Okobaba Open Field, Ebute Metta venue of the event with a pumping machine to drain their playing field during the rainy season.
According to Afam Anyika, Public Relations manager at Jumia, “It is of great honor to introduce such a CSR initiative. ‘Jumia feeds Lagos’, a project initiated by Jumia Nigeria, Nigeria’s number 1 online retailer, a day for extending benevolence to the less privileged and destitute in the society. Aim for us primarily is to show well-meaning Nigerians and cooperates regardless of your industry there is still a lot we can do to improve society. “

Tiwa Savage, Tuface, Naeto C, Asa and Keziah Jones are back performing in the UK for the 2nd event of the New World Nigeria Showcase and will be thIs time performing in London.
Other artistes billEd to perform at the event are Choc Boiz (Ice Prince, MI,
Brymo & Jesse Jagz), Waje, Wande Coal, the great King Sunny Ade and more, for the Nigerian
cultural extravaganza at Nigeria House, Theatre Royal in Stratford from 20 July to 12 August.
There will be show casing Nigerian creative arts such as Nollywood films, arts and crafts, and
fashion exhibitions over the 4 weeks.
There will be a storytelling workshop for kids and a Nigerian traditional dress workshop.

Nigerian Wizkid has yet clinched another award,this time the BET BEST AFRICAN INTERNATIONAL(africa) in New York.

Ice Prince or Wizkid? Who takes home the award for the BET Awards Best International Act in Africa.
On the announcements of the award category both IcePrince and Wizkid stated. “big shoutout to my fans, my family, my team, EME/Konvict and my manager. We [are] making it happen. God bless you all!.
While Ice Prince on his part said “Wow! Big shoutout and congratz to my whole management team and label!!
